70-year-old man facing 30 counts of child porn possession

MARY ESTHER, Fla. (WALA) - A 70-year-old man is facing 30 counts of possession of child pornography, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday.

Dennis Cornelison was charged Thursday after members of the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Homeland Security Unit, in conjunction with the Department of Homeland Security and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, executed a search warrant at a residence on Boulevard De La Parisienne in Mary Esther.

The search was part of an investigation into online child pornography distribution, the sheriff’s office said.

Investigators found numerous child pornography files stored on electronic devices in the home, the sheriff’s office said.
