WALTON COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) - A Walton County deputy is getting some well-deserved praise after going above and beyond on U.S. 98 in Inlet Beach.

Video posted by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office shows Deputy Katrina Cain pushing a stranded motorist’s car out of the roadway — by herself — for nearly 30 seconds before two good Samaritans jumped in to help finish the job.

The sheriff’s office called Cain a “literal beast” on social media, and it’s hard to argue. She didn’t wait for backup — she just got to work.

The two unidentified men who stepped in to help earned some praise of their own — the sheriff’s office called them “the real MVPs.”
