HCSO arrests man on active Bay County warrant
HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person standing in the roadway at the intersection of Highway 177 and Highway 79 on Saturday.
When they arrived, deputies identified the man as Julian Sanders. HCSO says a warrants check showed that Sanders had an active warrant from Bay County. Sanders was taken into custody peacefully.
While investigating the scene, deputies found a plastic bag with meth inside. It was located where Sanders had been standing, HCSO says. Sanders was also charged with possessing methamphetamine.
He was taken to the Holmes County Jail, where he was booked on the outstanding Bay County warrant and the additional drug charge.
