Water quality advisory for Lincoln Park in Valparaiso

VALPARAISO, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A water quality advisory for Lincoln Park in Valparaiso has been issued by the Okaloosa County Department of Health. The park is located at 1220 N Bayshore Dr.

Tests show the water quality doesn’t meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.

Water-related activities are discouraged due to an increased risk of illness in swimmers.

DOH-Okaloosa says this advisory will continue until bacteria levels are below the accepted health level. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
