Woman sentenced to prison for killing son
The woman accused of stabbing her three-year-old son to death, putting him in a suitcase before placing him in a swamp entered a plea Tuesday.
Egypt Robinson pleaded no contest and was sentenced to life in prison plus 30 years for first degree murder and aggravated child abuse.
In December 2015, just a few days after Christmas, a man went to the Callaway Fire Department saying Robinson had killed her baby. When Bay County Sheriff's Deputies arrived, they reported Robinson admitted to killing the child. They found the child in a suitcase floating behind the home and they believe he had been dead for more than a day.
The toddler's name was Aries Juan Acevedo.
