7+ Digital Exclusive: Jessica Foster speaks with author Eliza Knight
Chapter Chat
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -In this 7+ Digital Exclusive, author Eliza Knight sat down with NewsChannel 7’s Jessica Foster to talk about how the Women’s Equal Pay Act helped inspire her latest historical fiction novel, Confessions of a Grammar Queen.
She also talked about a newly published novel under her pseudonym, Michelle Brandon. Rush Week is a departure from Knight’s typical style. She describes it as a “juicy” novel about sorority life. You’ll love the fun and unfiltered conversation in this Chapter Chat episode.
You can sit back, relax, and enjoy WJHG’s Chapter Chat Podcast weekly by listening here, on Apple, or on Spotify. New episodes drop every Wednesday morning.
The Chapter Chat Podcast is an expansion of a WJHG/WECP-TV initiative to share the love of reading with the community. Chapter Chat was awarded the prestigious National Association of Broadcasters Service to America award in 2023.
The initiative began as a monthly book club that encouraged viewers to read along with a selected book and then meet up at the local library to discuss with the news team. Reporters and anchors also visit schools to read to children. The idea is that if children see the adults around them reading, they will learn to love it too.
