(Gray News) — After a long night of trick-or-treating or partying, be prepared to get an extra hour of sleep.
Daylight saving time will end on Nov. 1 at 2 a.m., also known as “fall back.”
The United States will be back on standard time with more daylight in the morning and less in the evening.
Daylight saving time will start again on March 14, 2027, also known as “spring forward.”
The federal government has been discussing doing away with daylight saving time altogether, meaning clocks would not need to be changed at any point during the year. However, Congress failed to act before next weekend’s time change.
