3rd Annual Sporting Clay Shoot benefiting Arc of the Bay
BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A community clay shoot is helping raise money for Arc of the Bay, an organization providing life skills training, employment assistance and residential services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The organization hosted its third annual clay shoot at a shooting range off State Road 79 in Bay County, bringing community members together to support its programs and services.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the organization’s adult day training program, which helps participants develop practical skills to live more productive and independent lives.
Those skills include everyday tasks such as choosing appropriate clothing for the weather, cooking and making decisions that support independent living.
The organization also provides transportation to help participants access its programs and offers employment services to connect individuals with disabilities to job opportunities.
For more information about Arc of the Bay, its services or upcoming fundraising events, community members can visit the Non Profit Organizations Panama City Florida | Community Help.
