Topeka Live Music Venue Welcomes Shinedown Fans for Weekend of Music in Miramar Beach

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Music fans from across the country are gathering at Topeka, a live music venue in Miramar Beach, for a weekend centered on rock band Shinedown and a lineup of artists invited by the group.

The event brings together fans traveling from states including Louisiana, Missouri and Michigan, with many arriving early to secure spots near the stage.

Andy Levine, Topeka Founder, said the venue’s success has been driven by strong community support and a team dedicated to making guests feel welcome.

“It’s been a journey, but this community has been so supportive,” Levine said. “Seascape’s been amazing and, you know, this thing doesn’t run without the community.”

Levine said approximately 200 people help serve guests and support operations during the event weekend.

For him, one of the most rewarding parts of hosting the shows is meeting fans who travel long distances to attend. During the interview, he highlighted visitors who had made birthday cakes for members of the band.

Andy said those personal connections are part of what makes the experience special for both fans and performers.
