United States Coast Guard medevacs man south of Panama City

United States Coast Guard officials said a man was reported in poor condition after being medevaced from a vessel south of Panama City Saturday morning.
They said an injured man was medevaced about 50 nautical miles south of Panama City.
They also said Coast Guard Sector Mobile watchstanders received a report at 9:53 a.m. from a vessel called Green Banana about a man who had sustained lacerations to his leg.
Watchstanders reportedly launched a Coast Guard Panama City 45-foot Response Boat-Medium boatcrew along with an emergency medical technician aboard.
Officials said the boatcrew arrived on scene at 11:20 a.m. and took the man to Panama City Marina to emergency services just after 12:30 p.m.
